ABOUT 

Di Mao (born 2000, Guangzhou, China) completed her undergraduate studies in a joint program between Beijing Normal University, Zhuhai Campus, and Brand University of Applied Sciences (Germany), majoring in Brand Design. She is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Expanded Practice at Goldsmiths, University of London (UK).

She is passionate about culture, social phenomena, the history behind everyday objects, and brand design. Her creative work showcases imaginative visual expressions crafted using a variety of materials and media. During the creation process, she enjoys collaborating with individuals from diverse disciplines. She considers herself a cultural hybrid, and her work reflects this identity—a fusion of different creative disciplines, cultures, co-creators, materials, and media.

She has collaborated with brands and platforms such as Nike, Airbnb, and Xiaohongshu.

Di Mao (2000, 广州, 中国)本科就读于北京师范大学珠海分校和brand university of applied sciences(德国)合作办学的项目:brand design。现在,就读于goldsmith(英国)的硕士学位:expanded practice。

她对文化,社会现象,日常物品背后的历史,品牌设计感兴趣,所以她的创作设计了各种材料和媒介的富有想象力的视觉表现。在创作作品期间,她愿意与来自不同学科的人合作。她认为自己是一个文化混合体,因此她的作品也是如此。它们是不同创意学科,文化,共同创造者,材质和媒介之间的混合体。
